Q: What is Demo Trading?
Demo trading refers to placing trades on a demo account funded with virtual capital. It allows traders of all levels, anywhere in the world, to learn and explore trading without making a deposit or using real funds. Traders can use a demo account to access multiple markets, test different strategies, and refine their approach while analysing market conditions. Whether you are a beginner or an experienced trader, demo trading can help you sharpen your skills before stepping into the live markets.
Q: Is there an entry fee for this competition?
No, there is no minimum deposit requirement.
Q: Can I view other participants' trading data?
Yes. The competition displays trading data (previous day’s closed positions) for the top 20 participants. You can select “View” to see more details.
Q: Can I withdraw funds from my demo competition account?
No. Demo competition accounts do not support deposits or withdrawals. WeTrade provides virtual capital for participants to trade during the competition. You can join without depositing real funds, but virtual capital cannot be withdrawn.
Q: How will prizes be distributed?
Prizes will be credited to the winners’ WeTrade wallets within five working days after the competition ends.
Q: Can prize money be used freely?
Yes. Once credited, prize funds may be withdrawn immediately or internally transferred to a live trading account to be used as trading capital.
Q: Can I keep using my competition account after the season ends?
No. Competition accounts will be closed within five working days after the results are announced.
Q: Can I register for consecutive demo trading competitions?
Yes. However, you will need to register a new competition account for each season.
Q: What is the competition schedule?
The 2025 WeTrade Demo Trading Competition consists of six rounds. The first three rounds have concluded. The current schedule is:

- The competition is open to all traders worldwide. Each participant may apply for one competition account only.
- Once identity verification is approved, participants may apply for a dedicated competition account in the competition section of the Client Portal or app.
- Each demo competition account will be credited with an initial virtual balance of $1,000. Leverage may be set as floating or fixed according to the participant’s preference.
- During the competition, the profit rate is calculated as: Profit Rate = (Current Net Equity – Initial Net Equity) ÷ Initial Net Equity × 100%.
- Each participant is entitled to two free balance resets and two additional resets by redeeming 10 points each. Resets can only be performed when no positions are open, restoring the virtual balance to $1,000 and resetting the profit rate calculation.
- In the event of a tie in profit rate at the end of the competition, rankings will be determined by the number of account resets used, followed by total trading volume.
- Prizes will be credited to winners’ WeTrade wallets within five working days after the competition ends. Prize funds can be withdrawn, internally transferred to a live trading account, or retained in the wallet to earn additional points.
- After the competition ends, competition accounts will become read-only and cannot be used for further trading. All open positions will be force-closed, and accounts will be archived within five working days after the results are announced.
- The use of multiple accounts to conduct malicious hedging to gain an unfair advantage is strictly prohibited. Any participant found engaging in such behaviour will have their results disqualified by WeTrade.
- Any form of arbitrage trading or other abuse of pricing/quotations will result in disqualification.
- EA (Expert Advisor) trading is permitted.
- The competition leaderboard is updated every hour. In the event of network delays or other force majeure factors, participants may manually refresh the page.
- Participants are responsible for declaring and paying any taxes or fees applicable to their prize money.
- WeTrade reserves the right to terminate the competition at any time without prior notice, and to delete, amend, supplement, revise, restrict, withdraw or modify any of the competition terms. WeTrade also reserves the right to cancel the eligibility of any participant who breaches the rules, and retains the final interpretation rights of the competition.
- These terms are a translated version. In the event of any inconsistency with the English version, the English version shall prevail.
